Local group featured tonight on live Zoom reading of Carol Durant play

An open letter from Patrick White of InPlay Capital Region:

Friends,

I hope you are all safe and well. If you are friends of mine from the theater, things can't be too well. It's been 66 days since I've been in a theater, and there is no set schedule or consensus plan on reopening a theater. I am personally, painfully aware that there are larger concerns in the country right now, especially the danger to nursing homes and the rising death toll.

I'm lucky and grateful to be participating in a 15-minute Zoom reading tonight at 8:30 of a short play, "Center of Lying Down," by Carol Durant. It's being produced by Quarantine E-Theatre, a great group of Capital Region actors I've known and collaborated with for years. The live reading features Colleen Lovett, Chad Reid, Maghan Ryan and yours truly and can be accessed here.

The Monday night play readings are about getting together and affirming that theater, attendance and inclusion matters.

If you could throw in $1 to say the same thing, it would mean a great deal to us.
